  Ms. Amber, Administrator Morning

After graduating high school in Amarillo, I moved to Wichita Falls where I studied Biology at Midwestern State University. There I married my husband in 1995. In 1997 we moved to Dallas where I went to University of Texas at Arlington and began making plans for my family. We now have three boys ages 20 months, 3 years and 5 years. I found Greystone House in September 2005 after relocating to Houston in 2003. I thoroughly enjoy taking pictures, baking cookies and pies, cleaning my house, reading, crochet, and playing games with my family. My favorite flowers are the Calla and Stargazer lilies, and I adore the color pink.

  Ms. Rosa, Infant Teacher

I'm from Costa Rica. All my family is there, except a sister who lives in Miami, Florida. I came to this country 25 years ago, but I went to live in Miami with a Cuban family, who is very close to me because the lady was my teacher in elementary school. I lived there for about 12 years. We moved to Houston in 1991 because of my husband's job with AeroMexico Airlines. We live in Bridgestone West with our daughters, ages 14 and 18. I have been at Greystone House since August 1998.

  Ms. Kinnari, Primary Directress

I am from India. I am married and we have two daughters. Krupa is in high school, and our older daughter is working on her MBA at the University of Houston. I have a master's degree in economics, and I taught 11th and 12th grades in India for 11 years. I completed my Montessori training at the Houston Montessori Center in 1980, and I have been at Greystone House since then. I recently was privileged to help build a beautiful temple near Missouri City.

  Ms. Yvette, Primary Directress

I am from Sri Lanka, "the Pearl of the Indian Ocean". I am married and enjoy walking and sports, especially tennis. I like to travel and to see different places. I have been to Canada, England, Germany, Holland, Singapore, Japan, Hong Kong, Thailand, and India. My Montessori certification is AMI. When I first came to the United States, I worked in Portland, Oregon, and Pittsburgh, Ohio. I helped open Greystone House shortly after I came to Houston in 1984. My students here help me polish my collection of spoons from some of the places I have been in the world.

  Ms. Revathy, Toddler Directress

I came to the USA from India in 1999. Our children are a son age 12 and a daughter age 9. I have a master’s degree from India in English, and I received my Montessori infant/toddler certification in 2001. I very much believe that “to teach a child is to touch a life”; every morning the smiles of my children brighten my day. Outside interests are gardening, music, cooking, and my family and friends.

  Ms. Lupe, Administrator Afternoon

I've lived in Houston all my life, but my family is from El Salvador. I live with my parents and three younger brothers in Spring. I'm working on a bachelor's degree in accounting. I've been working at Greystone House since 2003, but before that I began teaching at my church when I was 14. I enjoy sports, especially soccer, dancing, attending concerts, and watching horror movies
